There are so many ways to celebrate this special day, but our favourite is by honouring some of the female winemakers who we love to work with, inspire us, and make amazing wine.
Valérie Rousselle | Château Roubine
Meet the extraordinary winemaker behind the French winery Château Roubine, Valérie Rousselle.
Château Roubine's property has been known since the 14th century, when it was owned by the Order of the Templars, Saint John of Jerusalem.
A few centuries later after becoming a winery, Château Roubine became recognized as part of Côtes de Provence's “Cru Classé” decree.
Flash forward to 1994, and the winery was purchased by Valérie. Today, Château Roubine is known for its sustainability efforts, and it has been certified organic since 2017. Valérie and her three children (Adrien, Victoria, and Leonard) work together to share their passion for nature, life, and excellence through their group, Famille Rousselle-Riboud.

Valentina Di Camillo | Tenuta I Fauri
Valentina Di Camillo is the winemaker of Tenuta I Fauri in Abruzzo, Italy.
While Valentina comes from generations of winemakers, she is the first woman in her family to be one and currently is the head winemaker alongside her brother. After studying enology, she decided to follow in her father and grandfather's footsteps and join the family business.
In addition to creating wine with minimal intervention, Tenuta I Fauri is known for farming using integration management, which is a mix between conventional and organic methods. They produce lively and fresh wines.

Meet the incredible woman behind the Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo winery, Marianna Bruscoli.
Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo is located in Central Italy in the region of Marche. The winery is situated on a stunning estate that not only includes the winery and the vineyards, but also a wellness retreat and spa.
ALL of the wines made here are fully organic, sustainable, biodynamic, & vegan.
