Landing 63

The Region:

From Lodi, California, Landing 63 is an exclusive brand to Tre Amici. - meaning that it can't be purchased anywhere else in the world.

While Lodi might be a lesser known region than it's neighbouring Napa Valley, the similar climates and outstanding winemakers mean if you're a Napa lover, Lodi wines are a must-try.

We don't ask you just take our word for it, Wine Enthusiast named Lodi its 2015 Wine Region of the Year!

The Winery:

Named after a historic marina on the Sacramento River, Landing 63 is a true California wine brand, featuring beautiful labels drawing back to its origins. Perfect for summertime (especially in cottage country or on the water), the labels feature imagery of boats, paddles, and water.

From Noel Basso, Landing 63's Director of Winemaking, Landing 63 is "a place that always takes me back to family fishing adventures, peaceful boating trips, and the beautiful scenery and vineyards of our great state".

Merlot - $20.95

A rich blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Petite Sirah, Landing 63's 2019 Merlot has notes of cherry, black pepper, raspberry, and plum with a dash of vanilla and mocha. Rich layers of tannins present with subtle oak notes that lend to complexity on the palate.

Perfect for a summer BBQ, pair this wine with potatoes, tomatoes, duck, turkey, chicken, aged cheeses, and saucy dishes.

Pinot Noir - $20.95

More of a Pinot Noir lover? Landing 63's 2019 Pinot Noir features 76% Pinot Noir, 13% Petite Sirah, and 11% Shiraz. This blend has notes of cherry, raspberry, and clove with oak notes with soft tannins to elevate the palate.

Light but full of flavour, pair this Pinot Noir with your favourite lighter dishes such as turkey, pork, mushrooms, pepperoni pizza, lamb chops, and salty cheese.

Zinfandel - $20.95

Lodi is known for Zinfandel - in fact, the grapes that grow in this region were brought from Italy back in the early 1900's, before they were even popular on this side of the globe!

Landing 63 2018 Zinfandel is blended with Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, and has notes of jam, blueberry, black pepper, cherry, plum, boysenberry, and cranberry with a licorice warm finish.

Big fan of hosting parties in your backyard with your grill and smoker? Pair this bottle with your favourite grilled meats, smoked meats, and BBQ dishes!

Looking to switch it up a bit? Try it with curry, enchiladas, Italian sausage, and pasta.
