The Top Niagara Area Restaurants for Your Next Weekend Away

by Lauren Power

Heading out to Niagara for a winery tour, sightseeing, or mini-vacation?

We've rounded up our top picks for restaurants you need to add to your itinerary, and what our favourite things to eat and drink are!

Prime Steakhouse (Niagara Falls)

If you love hitting up a contemporary, high-end steakhouse when you go away, you need to try Prime Steakhouse!

Our go-to order is the Hand Cut AAA Black Angus Tenderloin with a glass of Wines of Carlos Basso Vina Amalia Malbec Reserva.

Antica Pizzeria (Niagara Falls)

Looking for the best pizza in Niagara Falls? Head to Antica Pizzeria! Located near lots of attractions, this is a great spot to grab lunch in between activities.

You can't go wrong with the Margherita Pizza and Next Wine Co. Everyday Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vittorio's Italian Eatery (Niagara Falls)

Located in the Fallsview Casino, Vittorio's Italian Eatery has some of the best pasta in Niagara Falls!

Try the Rigatoni Bolognese paired with Casalbosco Chianti DOCG.

Bricks & Barley (Niagara on the Lake)

If you're spending time in Niagara on the Lake, Bricks & Barley is a delicious family restaurant you have to try - including amazing vegetarian & gluten-friendly options (including wood-fired pizza)!

We're going for the Shaved Steak Wrap with a glass of Sancho Garces Tempranillo.

335 on the Ridge (Ridgeway)

If you're hitting up Crystal Beach or driving back to Toronto from the Niagara area, do yourself a favour and stop at 335 on the Ridge on the way! This is a fine dining establishment focused on bringing exceptional cuisine to the town of Ridgeway.

Our favourite dish is the Rack of Lamb & Spring Stew with a glass of Grotta Del Ninfeo Valpolicella DOC. Going alcohol-free? You have to try this dish with Jukes 6, The Dark Red.
