Cantine Teanum

Named for Teanum Apulum, the Roman settlement that once farmed this same stretch of northern Puglia, Cantine Teanum was founded in 2000 by Domenico Demaio and Vincenzo de Matteo to bring a historic local cellar back to life. Across 150 hectares near San Severo, the estate champions Puglia’s own grapes — Falanghina, Primitivo, Nero di Troia — grown on limestone soils cooled by the Adriatic breeze.
