Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 10% from Mercatale Val di Pesa, Tuscany. Intense ruby red with notes of leather, tobacco and chamomile. Elegant, smooth and velvety on the palate. Aged 2 months in vat, 18 months in oak and 3 months in bottle; will develop for 15–20 years.
