The nose is concentrated with aromas of faded grape, spices, liquorice, and small forest fruits, accented by subtle touches of vanilla, chocolate, and dried rose. Full-bodied, rich, and highly structured on the palate with harmonious, elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish showing notes of preserved fruits and tobacco.

Made from 100% Montepulciano grapes dried for 100 days using the appassimento method, followed by extended maceration and 24 months of oak barrel aging sur lies, 6 months in tank, and over 12 months in bottle.
