A bright ruby red with slight garnet reflections, this Pinot Nero opens with floral notes of violet, rosehip, and carnation layered with raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, and orange zest, alongside hints of cinnamon, clove, black pepper, and sweet tobacco.
Dry and smooth on the palate with gentle tannins, it shows flavours of cocoa, licorice, sweet spice, red fruits, and subtle vegetal notes of bark and walnut.
Ideal with beef tartare, tuna carpaccio, creamed cod, charcuterie, gnocchi with ragù, duck pasta, tuna tataki, lamb chops, and medium-aged cheeses.
